Vegetable Lo Mein

What You'll Need

 

8 oz. pre-cooked Beef, Chicken or Frozen Shrimp

1 Tbsp. chopped Basil (optional)

¼ tsp crushed Red Chilies (optional)

 

Instructions

 

Add pre-cooked beef, chicken or frozen pre-cooked shrimp to Lo Mein in the beginning of the cooking process and cook as directed. For a spicier version, top the finished dish with chopped basil and crushed red chilies. Remove from heat and let stand 2-3 minutes before serving.

COOKING GUIDELINES
For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions.  Cook thoroughly to at least 165°F before eating. Promptly refrigerate unused portions.
 
Ovens vary. Cooking times may need adjustment.
 
RECOMMENDED: SKILLET
Pour contents into skillet. Cook in covered skillet on medium to high heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Let stand 2-3 minutes before serving.
 
SECONDARY: MICROWAVE OVEN (1200 Watt)
Pour contents into microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes. Stir, re-cover and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Let stand in microwave for 2-3 minutes.  Carefully remove from microwave. Stir contents and serve.
 
CAUTION:  DO NOT COOK IN BAG.
